Commitment - We are committed to the future of at-risk youth. The indomitable spirit of Jalen is our ‘north star’ as we dedicate our efforts on his behalf.

Empathy - Because we love Jalen, we empathize with youth. We understand that they are faced with tough choices as they find their path to adulthood. We want to make that path a little easier.

Foresight - Because we believe in the potential that lies within every young person, we know that our efforts have a long-term, positive impact on their lives and on the many lives they touch.

Trust - We believe that our gestures of support will inspire them to trust the goodwill and support that is available for youth in the community and that there are people who care as deeply about their future as Jalen would.

Timeliness - We try to time our gifts and outreach so that they reach young people at critical times in their lives. We partner with teachers, case workers, pastors, shelter staff and other people and organizations to make sure that our gestures are especially meaningful.

Hope - Most of all, we want to instill hope in the lives of youth so that they feel valued and can move forward in their lives with faith in themselves and their future.
